What a summer

This has been a very busy summer. I have been traveling back and forth between home and Shreveport all summer helping my sister out. She was in the hospital for about 312 days and was able to come home since I was coming to take care of her. Valerie has so much strength and is such a joy in my life! She has always been there by my side to help me when I was in need even if I didn't want the help (yep...when i was young and stupid..she was STILL THERE!)
I love her so much. Even now as she is the one needing help...she still thinks of me first..what an amazing woman.
Well...off to pack for the trip back to her house. I am looking forward to seeing how much progress she has made since I have been gone for 2 weeks this time...(pre-planned vacation my husband and I had)
Thank God her husband was onshore and able to watch her during my little vacation.
OK...so now really back to packing.

Testing New things

I am trying out new Instant messaging and chat stuff today.  I downloaded PalTalk for my instant messaging...i think i may like it!

I have also added a chat to my blog here.  Not sure how or if it is going to work but I am gonna see

What a blessing my church is to not only myself but so many others.  Because of this I really like that they have their videos so that you can embed them into your sites and share God's word with those who read your blog!

This service was when my 2 youngest took their first communion.  Was such a wonderful moment!  The video only shows the sermon but I do hope you enjoy it!
